Dr. Reed HoppingĀ
Dr. Reed A. Hopping is a Residency-Trained Therapeutic Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist.
Dr. Hopping is a native Houstonian who attended Texas Christian University, where he graduated with honors in Biology. While attending the University of Houston College of Optometry, he completed ocular disease rotations through the V.A. Medical Center of Albuquerque NM, and BridgeBuilders healthcare center in Dallas. After graduation, Dr. Hopping completed an intensive, year-long Residency in Ocular Disease and Surgery through the Eye Center of Texas. Additionally, Dr. Hopping is a former adjunct clinical faculty member at the University of Houston College of Optometry.
Dr. Reed Hopping has specialized in the treatment of both acute and chronic eye diseases including emergency eye care, diabetes, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. He also enjoys specialty contact lens design and pediatric vision. Additionally, he has advanced training in the management of ocular surgery, including Lasik and cataract surgery, and teaches as an Adjunct Clinical Faculty at the University of Houston College of Optometry.
Dr. Reed Hopping and his wife, Lindsey, enjoy snowboarding and fitness. They have three beautiful daughters, Preslie, Teagen and Jessie.
