Can vision therapy really help children with ADD?

Many children diagnosed as having Attention Deficit Disorder, or ADD, (and labeled as candidates for drug treatment) may not have been properly evaluated for visual dysfunction. While some children may have complex neurological problems and require medication to treat their ADD, a significant proportion of these children have inefficient visual skills that impair their ability to perform academically. As visual skills are improved so are academics, self-esteem and behavior.
